About
When we vault in poor bio-mechanical ways, we put extra strain on our bodies. Our muscle anatomy is meant to work in a certain way. Just as heavy lifting, sprinting, and they way we build houses; we should vault and train the right way. If you want to push something forward, it doesn't matter how strong you are if you are leaning backwards. Poor Mechanics are even worse if you are moving faster, the effects of pushing a wall while leaning backwards are violently amplified when you push the wall faster. You must have the appropriate angle and posture to push against the wall and transfer your energy efficiently to have a chance at moving the wall. When you lift, you must move the weights, when you run and jump you must move yourself. Having our muscles aligned properly does not just maximize our potential to transfer our energy where we want it, it also minimizes the stress on your joints and spine. Our muscles control movement and support our bodies. We want the load on the muscles, not the joints. If you want a long successful career and stay healthy, you need more than just physically stressing your body. You need a plan.
